Cue Podcasts have partnered with WriteUpp to launch The Healthy Practice, a podcast guiding medical professionals and practitioners through every stage of practice management.

The Healthy Practice is hosted by WriteUpp’s Head of Content, Ellie Macdonald. With 3+ years’ company experience, her role involves implementing marketing strategies, identifying and meeting user needs, improving usability, and seeing content through from concept to production. It’s through her work that she brings a unique insight and knowledge of the common pain points experienced by aspiring practice owners.

The series not only aims to guide practitioners through the common problems of starting their own practices, but it also sets out to help them take control of other aspects of practice management - including work-life balance, marketing, finances, and more. Episodes will feature expert guests like Dr. Rosanna Gilderthorp (founder of Psychology Business School), Archna Patel (director of The Acupuncturists), and Sara Hagerman (Counselling Psychologist), to offer advice and discuss a range of industry-based topics.

Episode one is available now on all major listening platforms, and welcomes guest Jo Aldred (registered psychotherapist) to discuss the daunting prospect of starting a clinic, her advice, and what she’d tell her past self if she could. Episode two is also available for listening, and speaks to Archna Patel about maintaining well-being whilst running a practice.

The Healthy Practice is produced in partnership with Cue Podcasts, a UK-based production company specialising in branded podcasts. The team at Cue have previously produced shows for SailGP, Roc Nation, Azets, Samsung, VICE, Halifax, and more.

Ellie Macdonald, host and Head of Content at WriteUpp said:

At WriteUpp, we wanted to make it easier for new practitioners to navigate the world of practice management, which isn’t part of their therapy training. Our mission was to create content with true business value for new, forward-thinking therapists and small business owners.
With insights and tips from practitioners who have mastered the early stages of private practice, The Healthy Practice offers practical and valuable guidance that will save new clinicians an enormous amount of time and energy, and ease imposter syndrome. It’s been a real eye-opener to hear our expert guests’ personal experiences and stories, and I’m excited to share them with our listeners.

Niall Killeney-Taylor, Head of Production at Cue Podcasts said:

At Cue Podcasts, we believe in the power of storytelling to connect people and build communities. And so we’re thrilled to partner with WriteUpp for the launch of The Healthy Practice - a podcast where medical professionals can share their experiences and insights.
Our aim is to create a compelling space where the brand's voice can resonate with its audience, placing the host and guest personalities at the forefront of information and learning. The Healthy Practice will not only offer valuable guidance for practitioners, but it’ll also enable them to engage with individual stories in a direct and personal way, strengthening the community and furthering the conversation around practice management.

WriteUpp is a practice management software firm currently helping 13k+ clinics streamline their practices, save time, and connect with their patients.
